I just got my wisdom teeth removed here and I also go here for my regular dentist check ups! I love Dr. Myung, he’s super cool! I also love Jill and Sam they are some of the sweetest and nicest people there! They went out of their way to call the Oral Surgeon because I needed to be seen post op for my wisdom teeth extraction (had dry socket 🙁 ) and they got me an appointment in 30 min to see him and I got the treatment I needed! Also not sure what her name is but she had really long braids in the last time I saw her and she is so so nice and a great Dental Assistant, as well as the Dental Assistant who has just starting working there she was so sweet!

Do not recommend this place at all. I went for a regular cleaning and received a shocking $255 bill after insurance. They charged $88 for "oral hygiene instructions," which should included in the dentist's job. Plus, I did not receive a single word of oral hygiene instruction. They also took digital images of my teeth and billed me four times ($36 each) for each photo, which were not covered by insurance. These are not X-rays but literally photos of my teeth, and I was never informed that they would incur extra charges and not be covered.

This reeks of potential insurance fraud. The oral hygienist seemed inexperienced, getting water all over my face during the cleaning. To top it off, the dentist gave highly questionable advice, suggesting a crown on a perfectly healthy tooth.

Overall, I will never return and strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs.

My appointment was at 10am and only at 10:40am I was asked to do X-rays, even though I brought the ones I’ve done last week, shared with them and they input in their system. There was no reason at all for more X-rays, but I did it per request. They were VERY badly taken (the lady seemed to have no experience at all, having to repeat each tooth). Dr Jae comes in and says I need crowns. He doesn’t even tries to see my mouth or shows ANY care for me. He stayed in the room for less than 5 minutes and said he would share the estimates for the crowns. I was charged $100 for the “visit”. Worst experience I’ve ever had!

Avoid; unprofessional and low standard of care. I chose to go to this practice was very close to my new home. I had several issues with scheduling including receiving a call the same-day / less than 24 hours before my appointment telling me they double booked and needed to cancel, without any follow up to reschedule. When I finally go in for an appointment (now 4 times) I have never been taken back less than 40 minutes before (and have never received an apology). Today was my last straw as I received care for the first time from Dentist Jae Hong Myung, who, along with a hygienist, within seconds of seeing me and before my X-rays were even done, started using high-pressured sales tactics to get me to buy a “probably $350 with insurance” night guard, which I’ve never been recommended before by any provider. Given that I’ve never been recommended a night guard and the aggressive nature in which it was recommended (in addition to shady insurance billing I’ve seen complaints of), I told them I wasn’t interested today. He and the hygienist were completely rude, aggressive, and unprofessional, even stalling between cleanings and X-Rays to criticize my teeth and continue pressuring me to get fitted for a night guard and retainer and repeatedly question me about why I didn’t wear my retainer when I got it (almost 15 years ago). Jae Hong Myung gave quite literally the worst and most aggressive “cleaning” I’ve ever had, noting to the hygienist in front of me that maybe it wouldn’t be so bad for me if I took care of my teeth properly. The hygienist went as far as to tell me the crowns of my teeth are yellow and have irreversible damage because of teeth grinding, and AGAIN asked me to pay for the night guard. Notably, I’ve always been told by dentists, including at this practice, that I have healthy and nice teeth. After I was at this appointment for a grand total of 2 hours, the hygienist walks up to the front desk with me and loudly announces that I am refusing nightgaurd treatment, insinuating I wasn’t “ready” to pay the $350, which is ridiculous. Avoid at all costs; I will be making a complaint with the proper dental associations.

With some serious gum issues at my first visit 3 months ago, the hygienist Lucien gave me some new recommendations and pointers to try, and he patiently explained to me the reasons why. I am elated to find out today...at my second visit, that the gum condition improved significantly! Also, great front desk staff!

The doctor did not take the time to explain the diagnosis and what it means. If you are recommending that I get a deep clean it would be good to understand from the Dr. himself what the steps are, how it’s different from a regular cleaning and why I can’t do a regular cleaning. That would be have been the professional thing to do rather than having the staff member who handles the Insurance policies come in and explain to me what the steps of a deep cleaning are.

They then presented me with a $900 quote like it was all or nothing. Imagine my surprise. The Dr. said that teeth were overall good with some slight bone loss in the back molar but again nothing more was explained so that was the expectations that was set. So I’m sitting there wondering to myself why I needed to spend $900? weren’t my teeth in pretty good shape?! The cost of the treatment did not match the severity of the diagnosis. I was fully expecting to spend $200 max based on my insurance coverage for a deep clean, but $900 was a jump to say the least.

There’s clearly no consideration or bedside manners from the staff there, no easing in, just “that’s going to be $900” and when I turned it down they took of one of the treatments off, leaving the planing and scaling treatment only. Omg, if the leaser treatment was optional then why couldn’t they have told me that in the first place but made it sound like a packaged deal because that would have made the difference between being transparent and whatever this experience was which just screamed “I’m going to pull a fast one on you and see if you notice”. I walked out with nothing done because I’d rather give the money to anyone else.

Canceled my appointment with less than 24 hours notice. They called at 10am asking me to confirm my next day appointment. I called back later that afternoon, and they had already canceled it and said they’d tried to reach me 3 times, when they simply never did that. They then offered to reschedule for 2 weeks out.
