I had an exceptional experience at Alameda Family Dental. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. This is a great dentist for busy mamas. I love that I never have to wonder if all our family members are up to date with cleanings. The team here is just a well oiled machine. Nothing drops through the cracks - reminders, next appointments, fluoride treatments, X-rays, referrals are all taken care of with basically zero effort from me. Love having dental care just crossed off the list of mental tasks. Perfect for anyone with a big family, and the quality of the dental care is excellent.

Dr. Katie was great. My hygienist was superb. Everyone in the office was absolutely lovely and professional. The treatment recommendations were conservative, and no outlandish findings. I’m so happy I found this dentist!

I have been going to this location since 1986. It was Dr. Tonsberg’s practice and it became Alameda Family Dental with Dr. Katie Fogarty & Dr. Gagen S. Kohli. This office is spotless clean and they have the very latest in dental technology. The people are wonderful (shoutout to my long-time hygienist, Jennifer❤️), friendly and helpful. I trust them to give me and my sons the very best in dental care. That’s why I travel from south Hayward to their Alameda office. Five stars!!!

This dental office is the best.
My son who is always anxious when he hears dentist did a great job.. They made him feel comfortable. They always go above and beyond for their patients.
Dr. Katie is gental and provides excellent service.
Everyone is friendly and makes you feel like you've met them before.

Dr. Fogarty is a wonderful dentist. She's gentle with a needle and excellent with restorative work. It can take a while to get in as a new patient, so if you're looking, don't wait to call.

I was a patient of Dr. Tonsberg and was saddened that the practice had changed hands but was pleasantly surprised. The staff was kind and very helpful. They answered all my questions. I will still consider them my dental office, even though I don't have insurance.
