I write reviews for exceptional services or the very worst! This is in the worst category for dental experiences! I too should have looked at reviews. I even gave them a second chance. So many surprises when it comes to fees! I wonder if they even use your insurance? Spare yourself and look around for a more affordable, reliable option.

STAY AWAY!

First, Karina from the Burbank Glendale dental practice said she would call me right away because she was alone in the office . Then it became an hour. After that, she claimed it would be in three days. She never called. Today, October 4, 2024, they didn’t even pick up the phone. I can only imagine what would happen if you had a dental emergency given their level of desk care. In the meantime, I read dozens of the most terrible reviews about this office. It’s clear that this place is unreliable—stay away from irresponsible people like

One of the worst places to get your teeth taken care of. They'll charge you top dollar but they take less than 10 mins to clean your teeth...

Please, look somewhere else. I don't leave reviews but this place doesn't deserve the money they ask of you.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but if my review saves someone from going to this dentist, it's worth it. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a dental office.

I went in for a checkup and cleaning. The wait wasn't terribly long, but once I got into the dentists chair, the hygienists took about a total of 4 minutes to clean my teeth. A teeth cleaning should never be that short. It was clear that they were rushing. My hygienist told me that I would need an emergency root canal because I had a cavity that couldn't be saved, as it was too close to the root. I don't know why, but my gut feeling was telling me otherwise and it would have been a wise choice to get a different opinion before going that same day.

Before getting out of the dentist's chair, the hygienist told me that the front desk staff knows a great root canal specialist who could give me a root canal that same day. I proceed to walk to the front of the office. Before I get to the front, one of the FD staff members rushes towards me with an off-putting urgency and says, "Here is the information for the root cancel specialist, you should go today." She continued to give me all the details, almost as if this was planned. Me being the hypochondriac I am, I went to root canal specialist that same day and got a root canal that I don't even know that I needed. I should have definitely gotten a second opinion before putting my trust into a dentist that I've only been to once.

Don't go to this dentist. It's as simple as that.

This was my first and last visit to this dental office. I would have given a zero if the option was there. At first i thought maybe Dr. Shirazi was having a bad day but seeing these revews I figured what happened to me happenes to most patients. I strongly believe that this dentist only carries the pronoun " dentist ",he has no skills, no manners and no respect for the patient. First of all, he was cussing in farsi not knowing i was persian waiting in the waiting room, over some trash cans being on the desk, his team didn't even care to remove those prior to his arrival. Then, after 45 minutes waiting and doing paperwork, the x-ray operator took me for x-ray. Right before he started, Dr.Shirazi Whom I've never met before, ran to the room, yelling at me that I haven't given the staff my SS# and they couldn't find me in the system. I told him not only I have given them the account ID # but also they didn't even ask me for my ss# over 45 minutes that I was waiting right by front desk.He continued raising his voice.I've never seen nor expected such a Behavior from a physician. He continued raising his voice, i offered to go to front desk to figure out what's happening and asked him to lower his voice then he said I should find another doctor, I replied "oh I will" and left the office immediately. Burbank, Glendale dental group should be embarrassed to allow such an unprofessional person run and operate under their business name.

This place was a terrible experience. I should have checked the reviews before going as I had a similar experience to the other 1 star reviewers. The biggest concern was that one of the receptionists wore her mask down under her chin not even covering her mouth.

I spent 3 hours in the office waiting between x-rays and cleaning and taking to the dentist. The x-ray technician was extremely rough with my mouth. I’ve never been in so much pain from an x-ray. They attempted to upswell me on SO many services I didn’t need including Invisalign while I’m actually quite happy with how my teeth look. I would NOT trust these people with my teeth ever again.

Truly one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a dental group. I'm a professional and was new to the area. They were accepted by our insurance plan, so naturally I didn't think twice about it. They had a nice website and a nice receptionist.

I have had some issues with my teeth but was waiting for dental insurance to get them fixed. I absolutely could NOT BELIEVE that they tried to upsell me during my first consultation. I'm pretty easy going, really enjoy a good value for my money, but this was beyond ridiculous.

Not only did they try to upsell me with suggestions for a $300 out of pocket saliva sample, he also tried to recommend a purely cosmetic procedure amongst my assessment. I could NOT believe it… I have 2 serious issues with my teeth and he's trying to up sell me on other parts of my teeth he could do? SERIOUSLY!?! You have to be kidding me.

After the assessment I'm greeted by a different (and kind of nasty) receptionist who prints out my assessment.. which included multiple extra procedures. I took it home that night. I highlighted everything I really 'needed' and it came out to about $750. The actual plan they gave me was for $2500 worth of treatment… WOW.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that when I told the receptionist that I didn't 'need' the saliva sample, she snaps back at me and tells me "Well you DO need it, you just need to decide which part you can afford". Wow. Wow. Wow. Are you serious? I'm a new patient looking for someone who wants to help me take care of my teeth and any dental issues.. sorry B/GDG you just lost a truly dedicated customer. I just cannot believe this company is still running. Absolutely horrible.

They get 2 stars because the man who took my X-rays was so nice and professional. It was such a disappointment that everything went down hill after that.

I have gone three times and every time the staff is so polite and considerate. I jut have to show a bit of discomfort and right away they try to fix it. I've never had to wait long. I was recommended to them and I would recommend them. I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed there so ill keep you all updated.
