My mother fell and broke her arm. The hospital put on the wrong cast, failed to set the bone properly, and gave her medication that directly conflicted with her regular medication. Now she needs surgery to correct their mistakes.

In my opinion, this is both incompetent and dangerous. I can only recommend using a public hospital for serious injuries. This place may be fine for colds and stomach problems. but I would never trust them with anything more serious.

Discusting customer service. They offer very little for the money. We have paid yearly and after a couple of years asked to cancel. We thought it was cancelled and then they charged us for another year. They refuse to refund money and say we can cancel again but with no refund. AVOID THIS MONEY GRABBING COMPANY. The lady on the phone just said "You should have read the small print"

I want to publicly share my gratitude for the empathy, emergency medical care and treatment provided by the amazing doctors and nurses at this hospital. Visiting on holiday I suffered an acute medical emergency, the day I arrived in Spain, from emergency arrival at hospital in considerable pain, to the diagnosis, tests, treatment and operation I have been treated with dignity kindness and fully consulted. Less than 48 hours after arrival I have received emergency surgery, the hospital have been relentless liaising with my insurance company to ensure I got the care and treatment I needed quickly all covered by my insurance company who have also been great in ensuring swift treatment and surgery. This hospital and staff know what they are doing. It is spotless, my room is comfortable, cleaned regularly the food has been wonderful to help my recovery. Thank you all, from a very grateful patient you are all wonderful

I’m becoming more and more concerned by the delays and lack of or miscommunication at HS. It used to be fantástica but maybe with too many clients they cannot keep up and mistakes are happening which are costing patience their health

My 81-year-old mother was admitted for over 5 weeks after HS performed bladder tumour surgery. During this time HS refused to communicate with her family, yet with no assessment of her mental fitness. She had long-standing mental health issues, including well documented depression known to HS having been under their care for over 15 years. HS Medics visited her home several times a week to administer strong cocktail of tranquilizers. Despite her known vulnerability, no mental health or capacity assessments were ever carried out — even when she signed disclaimers requesting increased dosages. This should have triggered safeguarding procedures, but none were implemented. Shockingly, they continued to claim they could treat her cancer, despite not being a specialist facility — and performed investigative procedures that went wrong and further delayed her treatment. All the while knowing she had private medical cover at more appropriate and specialist hospitals nearby.
Her death has only deepened the pain and outrage. Instead of compassion, she received neglect rooted in what appears to be financially driven indifference. Helicopteros Sanitarios Puerto Banus failed her profoundly — a disturbing breach of trust, responsibility, and ethics.
Despite multiple attempts to contact Helicopteros Sanitarios since January 2025, including formal complaints to their legal department, I have received no responses, not even condolences despite my mother's 6 figure cost of care they were very happy to receive!

Absolutely fantastic hospital & staff, I had a medical complication & they have been super professional & efficient.

Also have ample parking for members go to the far end past the ambulances and turn left, get your parking ticket validated at the lower level reception before you leave.

This is a truly wonderful hospital. The facilities are superb. But the thing that makes it so good is the brilliant staff. They take a very personal interest in you and your medical condition. Nothing is too much trouble. They are always smiling, which is so pleasant when you are not well. Nobody wants to have to go to hospital, but if it is necessary, then this would always be my hospital of choice
