I wish that I could give this hospital 10 *s.
They saved my husband's life. 27 nights in hospital. Good food, kind staff, spotless, wonderful medical treatment.

First, you can die in the waiting line, as everywhere in the Spanish hospitals. Secondly personnel doesn't know the rules of basic sanitary and don't use alcohol before taking blood

Sipped and injured my arm last night. Went to the ER this morning. Did the paperwork and checked in, saw a triage nurse, waited for 5 minutes then had 4 X-rays. Saw the resident on duty who said not broken only a contusion then the doctor who physically checked my arm. Then got a shot for the pain, 2 prescriptions and sling to wear the next 5 days. Total time from when we walked in until we left was less than 1 hour. Cost was 0€. Thank you!!!!

Every time I have been here either for myself or to accompany others, the efficiency and treatment by all the staff has been excellent. Reassuring, friendly and professional. Absolutely cannot fault them and feel extremely confident in their hands. Very very glad I am in their jurisdiction as would not want to be treated anywhere else.

A very new build but with a very poor standard of care.
Forget about that the staff speak very little English. We are in Spain. The level of care, attention and treatment is very archaic.
Not a hospital I would recommend for seriously ill patients as the registered nurses have very little knowledge and provided very little hands on care.
Basic care needs such as monitoring observations are over looked and the hospital does not have modern equipment to monitor. There appears to be very little interest in oral intake and evaluation of the vital signs. The patient is dependent on the carer or family members to alert the nurse or medical team in anomalies.
It appears that health provision is a post code lottery. The hospital does not provide a 24 hour service after 2pm there are very few doctors and the weekends are a joke. No routine bloods are taken. The qualified nurses have very little autonomy or knowledge in caring for acutely unwell patients. There appears no impetus to get their patients well.
The hospital is little more than a nursing home. Patients are washed - and left tucked up in bed. If they are lucky they may have a remote control for the television in their room. The brand new hospital has no WIFI.
I would never recommend this hospital.
Staff work in silos, ask one of the domestics for soap and water in the public toilets…… that’s not my job, that’s my colleague’s job.
If you need emergency care keep on going, drive past La Linea and hopefully you will have better luck in Algeciras or in Marbella.
This hospital needs to be named and shamed.

We were traveling in Spain, when our 5 month old baby suddenly developed a fever. We are German and speak no Spanish. The hospital is brand new. Admission was no problem with the EU health insurance card. The staff speaks only very little English, but is super friendly and helpful.
They have a designated pediatric urgencies area so you don‘t have to wait in the large waiting area with adult patients. In Covid times very good!
They performed some tests and tried to explain everything as good as possible.
In the end we got a prescription for some antibiotics and our daughter was doing much better the following day.
They even offered that we could come in for the follow up check, what is usually done by your pediatrician. But as we were traveling, we didn’t‘t have one nearby.
5 stars because they helped my baby so quickly!

Came with daily panic attacks to get a recipe, because IN THIS FREAKING LA LÍNEA YOU HAVE TO WAIT MORE THAN 2 MONTHS FOR NEUROLOGIST IN A PRIVATE CLINIC. what they did? Argued 20 minutes that they can't write a recipe. Bravo!
