I’ve been a patient and friend of Dr. Nam for almost 25 years. I used to see him in San Francisco and I now drive 45 minutes to see him at his office in Oakland as he has always taken care of me. Everyone at the office is unbelievably friendly, attentive and I always leave feeling so well taken care of. If I could give 10 stars I would! I just recently had my crown crack and they were able to squeeze me in and take care of it quickly and painlessly. I have never really liked going to the dentist ever since I was young but Dr. Nam and his wonderful staff make it as good as it can be for me 🙂

Today was my first visit to Dr. Nam’s office. I immediately felt welcomed. The office is fully staffed with kind and helpful people, it is extremely clean and full of state of the arts technology. My Dental tech, Christine (I hope?!) was very kind, gentle and got a ton done!!! My exam was the most comprehensive I’ve had- ever. When I met Dr. Nam, he was generous in spirit and completely honest in his opinion and what could actually be done with a tooth that I was very worried about. We talked about options. I felt heard and cared for. Let me say that again- I felt heard and cared for.

I had an amazing experience! I saw Dr Blake and Alice and they made me feel comfortable, communicated with me the whole time on what they were doing, and didn't push me to do anything at all. I will be returning to get a filling and will do cleanings every 6 months.

Dr. Nam is very professional and his care is great. I do have an issue with the dental assistant and the desk staff. My experience was not pleasant they were pushy and did not demonstrate tact nor listening skills. I had a negative reaction to the local anesthesia and choose not to continue the extraction that day. The DA and office staff did not make me feel comfortable with continuing on I left the office feeling physically not up to par. I wouldn't say the treatment is poor, but it's not a visit I foresee having again.
